We’re proud to be involved with one of the largest residential builds in Europe (and the 33rd largest in the world). Situated in Canary Wharf, the city's prestigious, modern financial district, the installation includes complete fit-out to 634 apartments of various sizes.
Construction of this project spans 68 storeys. The size and height is a real challenge, requiring us to work at extreme heights. There is limited access and only two internal hoists in situ. The site is also in the middle of Canary Wharf, so coordinating the delivery of materials has been a test, along with very little storage area for tools and plant.
We’ve implemented additional mobile access and storage solutions and have applied a lead-free, battery-only option for tools and plant. We have approximately 30 operatives and supervisors in place to meet the challenges.
